Just facts and right to the point.

What is Filmbucks Productions Inc?
For the (GET TO THE POINT) readers

What you do:

  1. Post an Idea for a film.
  2. Together we will create trailers of your Ideas.
  3. Invite your friends and family to the website to support your movie with dollar votes.
  4. Your movie will compete with other trailers of different genres produced by others.  Everyone that is a member of filmbucks will vote on the final and winning trailer.  The winning trailer will be funded by these dollar votes and we will green light you idea for production.

What we do:

  1. We can turn your Idea trailer into a feature film
  2. We will show your movie in IFC theaters, where everyone that voted for your movie can be in attendance to the premier of your Idea.
  3. We are a network of Independent Production Companies capable of completing high quality films in a very short time.
  4. We can also produce films with minimal funding.
  5. Don't be discouraged by thinking that you’re the only one that can fund your dream.  We can make movies with just one dollar.  We are the lovers of this medium.

What we hope to do:

  1. Offer a website capable of giving you assistance in deciding, with a “like and dislike” voting system, everything that you want included in your movie, from movie posters to music.
  2. You post; you and your supporters decide with votes; we create; you celebrate.

Why is a dollar called a Buck.

BUCK, O.E. bucca "male goat". Apparently O.E. also had buc "male deer." The two words (if truly separate) were fully merged by c.1100. Verb is 1848, apparently with a sense of "jump like a buck." Meaning of "dollar" is 1856, Amer.Eng., perhaps an abbreviation of buckskin, a unit of trade among Indians and Europeans in frontier days, attested in this sense from 1748.
